Oh me – oh my – – the holidays are upon us again. Where does time go? Here I sit in my new Halloween finery anxiously awaiting next Friday night when the ghouls and goblins will come out for tricks or treats. I am up for the job in my super costume – Superman” and a big bowl full of goodies. Hope some will be left by next Friday – Mom and Dad keep sneaking some. Be sure to check back for Halloween photos.
I am busy planning Thanksgiving festivities with Mom. Grandma Barber and my sister Lissa and her husband Clark are coming and Jenny will be here too. It will be a party. Mom is in the midst of menu planning – Grandma is gluten free – – which means you can’t eat good stuff like bread and pasta – all things I love!! I mean, I was gonna make my specialty “Monkey Bread” but now we have to come up with healthy options. What ‘s Thanksgiving without lovely stuffing, gooey pies and Monkey Bread ???
Mom says to trust her and she will come up with a menu that will please all. I sincerely hope I will be pleased – could care less if the others are pleased. So stayed tuned and check back often for how the Turkey Day Prep goes. I for one am very pleased that Turkeys are the Entrée of choice for this shindig….instead of the non human primate variety….
